True Love

Week 3, Day 3

"A third time he asked him, 'Simon son of John, do you love me?' Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, 'Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.' Jesus said, 'Then feed my sheep.'” John 21:17

Peter felt frustrated that Jesus was questioning his love. Do you really love me?  Then go love others. Don’t just say you love Jesus.  We see here that Jesus’ determination of Peter’s love was whether or not he loved those around him well.  There are sisters who are seeking love today. They are in your community, at your workplace, even at your church.  Today it is time to put faith in action and go love on a sister. Pray that the Holy Spirit will illuminate someone in your circles so you can begin to love her and help her take her next step with the One who loves her more.
