For a child is born to us,

    a son is given to us.

The government will rest on his shoulders.

    And he will be called:

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

His government and its peace

    will never end.

He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David

    for all eternity.

The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies

    will make this happen!

Christmas is here! The culmination of everything we have prepared for is upon us! The anticipation built with each gift purchased, each cookie decorated, and every gathering attended,  have led us to this day of celebration! Just as we prepared the external, we have also prepared the internal to receive the most precious gift of all in our Lord Jesus! Peace, joy, and love are not just words written on ornaments hanging from our trees. They are the reality of everything that lives within us on this beautiful Christmas Day! Embrace the joy of this day! Rejoice in all of His goodness! Hallelujah, He has come!

You are here! Our Savior has come! Jesus, I join in with all creation to celebrate Your arrival today. Thank You for saving me. Thank You for filling me with joy. Thank You for Your endless love that is available to me at all times. I don’t have to wait until I get to heaven to experience a full life. I can have it now because of what You’ve done for me. To You be all glory, honor, and praise. May my life be a constant celebration of all that You are and all that You have done. Amen.
