Don’t Stop Here
Key verse
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV
I’d like to thank you for intentionally setting aside your time to engage in this 21-day endeavor, both as an individual and joining corporately with the rest of the East Coast body to press in and seek God’s truth as we begin this new year. I pray that in doing so, you heard God more clearly and sensed His presence in personal and intimate ways.
This year is going to be the best year of your life! Each of us experiences different circumstances and situations, but one thing remains the same; our God is Lord over it all. His blessings are freely given, and all we need to do is let His light shine out of our lives. Let kindness be on your lips. Let the love of God spill out to those you encounter. Smile and laugh, and celebrate the hope that God has given us through His son, Jesus. God has chosen us as His people, and when He is for us, no one and nothing can stand against us.
God has chosen us as His people, and when He is for us, no one and nothing can stand against us.
Don’t let what God has done in your heart over the past three weeks end here. Keep it going by reading the Morning Breath chapter each day, and if you can, tune in every morning on 91.5FM (or anytime on the East Coast App.) Allow the light of His glorious gospel to lead you through this year. I pray that you will experience divine appointments, encounters with others that will be opportunities for His light to shine, and so moved by the rhythms of His grace that the world around us is won for Him.
Prayer
God, in the name of Jesus, help me to let Your light shine in my world and show me how I can be a blessing and an influence to those around me. Amen.
