East Coast Christian Center

East Coast Christian University is for anyone who wants to take their study of the Word to the next level. Whether you are a volunteer in your church or are pursuing full-time ministry as a vocation, studying at this level will transform your life. You do not have to be a member of East Coast Christian Center to enroll.

Mission Statement:

• The mission of East Coast Christian University is to equip Christians to have a greater impact in their community by having an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and an in-depth knowledge of the Word of God.

Is East Coast Christian University accredited?

• Yes! ECCU is accredited by “Transworld Accrediting Commission International” a non-governmental agency.

What can I expect from ECCU?

• Life teaching from experienced instructors who work in both corporate and church settings.
• Reasonable costs; tuition includes books

When are the classes?

• ECCU meets one night a week in our Community Care Center at:
  670 North Courtenay Parkway
  Merritt Island, Florida 32953

What about books?

• Our primary text is The Bible; we recommend the New King James Version.

How are the credit hours structured?

• Each one-month course is worth three credit hours
• Receive three hours of credit per school year for service to your church

Mission Statement

The mission of East Coast Christian Academy is to provide a quality childcare center that promotes development in the areas of spiritual growth, academic excellence, social and physical awareness, and equips parents with effective skills for parenting. What are the children's ages?

• We care for children from the ages of 6 weeks old up to 5 years old.

What about the staff?

• Our staff meets the state of Florida qualifications for child care. This includes a 40 hour state certificate and Child Development Associate Degree.
• Director - Cynthia Smith with 27 years experience.
• Academy Supervisor - Bonnie Goolsby with 28 years experience.

How long has ECCA been around?

• We opened our doors on April 7, 2000.

East Coast Christian Academy accredited?

• Yes! East Coast Christian Academy has been awarded the Gold Seal Quality Care certificate by the State of Florida.
• We are fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International.

• We are open Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm.
