Pastor David and Suzanne Ellis

Pastor David and Suzanne Ellis

Executive Pastor / East Coast Christian University Director - dellis@eccc.us
Pastoral Assistant - sellis@eccc.us

Since 1988, the Ellis’s have called ECCC home. David is an executive pastor, with responsibilities that include overseeing the financial aspects of the church and the distribution of outreach resources. He has a heart for equipping people, not just with tools to meet practical needs, but with the spiritual truths to help them break free and take their lives to the next level. One of David’s passions is teaching the Word of God, and for the last several years he has served as the director of East Coast Christian University. Still a student himself, he is currently working on his doctorate degree. David is also a Morning Breath co-host and regular ECCU instructor.

Suzanne has filled many roles as part of the ever-expanding ECCC administrative team. Currently, she is a senior pastoral administrator and assists in the finance office. She is also a part-time ECCU instructor.

Married in 1982, David & Suzanne have three kids, John, Josh, and Katelyn. Dave doesn’t mind Suzanne’s frequent trips to Tennessee to catch Josh’s college basketball games, because that means uninterrupted time on the golf course.

Pastor Ray and Bonnie Goolsby

Pastor Ray and Bonnie Goolsby

Executive Pastor / Life Group Director - rgoolsby@eccc.us
Children's Pastor - bgoolsby@eccc.us

The Goolsby family has been an integral part of the ECCC family since 1989. After stepping in as interim senior pastor to lead the church through a difficult transition in the early 90’s, Ray stayed on board to lead worship and assist the new senior pastor with a growing church. Bold in his declaration of a faith-based life, his mission is to open the eyes of Believers to the freedom they already have in Christ. He is a motivator and encourager, with a compassion for people and willingness to meet them where they are. Ray is also a East Coast Christian University instructor, Morning Breath co-host, and oversees life groups and facilities needs on the ECCC campus.

Bonnie came on staff in 2005, backed by 21 years of teaching experience in both the public and private arenas. She serves in multiple ministries, functioning as the children’s pastor, East Coast Christian Academy overseer, and East Coast Women’s Ministry leader. Together she and Ray have five kids, Carrie, Leigh Ann, Corey, Bethany, and Allyson. They are also blessed with five grandchildren – Aden, Kerrigan, Tristan, Hannah, and Kellan.

Ray counts water sports, golf, and woodworking among his hobbies. We also know that one of his prized possessions is a 1974 Rockledge High School football highlight reel starring a certain quarterback by the same last name.

Pastor Chris Johnson

Pastor Chris Johnson

Worship Pastor - cjohnson@eccc.us

Chris’s distinct whistle caught the ear of Senior Pastor Dan Stallbaum when Chris was only 13 years old, and Dan knew then that ECCC’s future worship leader was somewhere inside that talented young teenager. Fast forward several years to May 2002, when Chris, by then the worship leader for TNT’s youth band, stepped into leadership as the worship pastor for ECCC. A Psalmist in the truest sense of the word, his passion is for people to experience God’s glory, to catch a glimpse of His beauty and goodness through worship. He is thankful that his pastors pushed him out of his comfort zone, beyond music to pastoring and teaching. He loves people, and serves as a mentor to others, helping them walk in their calling as musicians and songwriters. Chris is also a Morning Breath co-host and part-time ECCU instructor.

Chris has been married to Leigh Ann Goolsby since February 2002. Together, they have one son, Aden, and two daughters, Kerrigan and Hannah. Family time is tops on his list, including Wii with his kids and dates with his wife. Other hobbies include working out, whistling, beat-boxing, and just making noise in general.

Pastor Bryan Moore

Pastor Bryan Moore

Youth & Missions Pastor / Service Production Director - bmoore@eccc.us

After five years serving with his wife, Emily, as director of the middle school ministry at ECCC, Bryan came on staff as youth pastor in January 2008. Bryan and Emily’s passion is to see young people loving Jesus without shame.  They believe that ECCC is a launching pad for young people to become world changers and history makers. Bryan and Emily led a youth mission team to Nicaragua in 2007, showing young people how they can have impact beyond their circle of friends. In 2009, Bryan’s ministry extended to include overseeing ECCC Missions, working on both local and global outreach opportunities. A former pro baseball player, Bryan is now the primary instructor in Velocity, LLC, a professional pitching instruction business. Their family includes daughters Rachael and Constance Faith and sons Micah and Tytus.

Pastor Matt Stallbaum

Pastor Matt Stallbaum

Mezzanine & Avenue Worship Center Pastor - mstallbaum@eccc.us

A brief stint as a janitor at ECCC drove Matt Stallbaum all the way to England for an entire year. He returned from across the big pond with an affinity for proper tea and the vision for the Mezzanine Young Adult Church, birthed in 2002. Ordained in 2004, Pastor Matt became the venue pastor at the Avenue Worship Center three years later. He has been married to Jessica since November 2003, and they are parents to Reagan and Hudson. Pastor Matt has a gift for leadership and is passionate about finding innovative ways to creatively teach the Word. He co-hosts Morning Breath and uses his time off to scuba dive, watch sports, and have family time and game nights with friends.

Jonathan Walling

Jonathan Walling

Staff Worship Leader / Mezzanine & Avenue Worship Center - jwalling@eccc.us

Jon Walling has been leading worship in various capacities at ECCC since 2001.  This singer-songwriter has led the Mezzanine band for the past five years, writing many of the songs on the Mezzanine’s full-length recording project Come Away, released in the fall of 2009. Jon also oversees the weekly acoustic service at the Avenue Worship Center.  A connoisseur of the cinematic and culinary arts in his free time, Jon is also a firm supporter of and participant in activities relating to our second amendment rights.

Supporting Staff

Stephanie Booth

Stephanie Booth

Life Group Coordinator - sbooth@eccc.us

Walk through Stephanie Booth’s front door and you’ll find three floor-to-ceiling bookcases full of theology books and study resources – her favorite place to spend her spare time. This Navy alum is now the Life Group coordinator for ECCC and full-time mom of three (Maissie, Gabe, & Farrah). Once the kids are asleep and the house is quiet, Stephanie dives into reading and studying, excited to, one day, step into her calling as a teacher. On the weekends, Stephanie and her husband, Josh, lead Fellowship Marriage Ministries, a fun, thriving Life Group born out of their love for people and their passion for healthy marriages.

Caroline Clemetson

Caroline Clemetson

Database Management - cclemetson@eccc.us

Caroline grew up an Air Force brat, married a Navy man, and came to Florida by way of Colorado five years ago with the love of her life and their three kids. Though she holds a degree in Computer Information Systems and has a background in tech support, Caroline is not one to sit behind a desk for long. She’s been to nine countries, and worked in restaurants and the Home Depot paint department just for fun. She is currently putting her administrative and technical skills to good use as the Shelby Database Administrator and loves working side-by-side with East Coast staff. She would be thrilled if everyone would please keep their contact information current, so as to stem the tide of returned mail when contacting East Coasters about upcoming events (she looks forward to hearing from you!). Her favorite activity is hanging out with her family, who would like her to relax and let go of the need to be productive 24/7.

Socorro Evans

Socorro Evans

Facilities - sevans@eccc.us

That fresh scent greeting visitors in the front office each day and the clean floors awaiting churchgoers each weekend are courtesy of Socorro Evans, member of the ECCC Facilities staff since late 2006. Armed with a great sense of humor, she takes pride in providing a welcoming environment in all the ECCC buildings, working hard to attend to those little details that make a difference. She does, however, have a love-hate relationship with microwaves. In 2006, Socorro won the Southern U.S. District Parent of the Year Award (beating out nominees from several other states) and a trip to New York City for the national competition. She is devoted to her two boys, both named James.

Cassie Filardo

Cassie Filardo

TNT Administrator - cfilardo@eccc.us

ECCC has been part of Cassie’s life for the last seven years; for four of those seven, she’s been a leader at TNT Youth Church. She hangs out with young people because their passion and fervor for the Lord inspires her, and her desire is to see them experience God’s love in a new and fascinating way every day. Cassie leads worship in her spare time for local youth gatherings and retreats with her band, This Place Will Shake. A board game aficionado, she swears there’s nothing better after a tough day than doing a puzzle by the fire (in Florida??) with Jeopardy on in the background.  Come summer, though, she’s on the road to Cornerstone Festive in Bushnell, IL, for some great music and hardcore dancing.

David Gammon

David Gammon

Mezzanine Administrator / Facilities - dgammon@eccc.us

Brevard County native David Gammon joined the ECCC staff in 2009 as part of the facilities team. With a degree in theology, he has served in the Mezzanine Young Adult church for over two years as leader of a men’s Bible study. He is also the director of life groups for the Mezzanine, and works with middle schoolers at Identity on Wednesday nights. He loves fishing and football, and being married to his beautiful new bride, Nancy.

Steve Harf

Steve Harf

Facilities - sharf@eccc.us

If the waves are good, the beach just might be his first stop; then Steve is faithfully on his way to ECCC most days of the week. This California surfer and former crane operator is the newest member of the facilities staff, doing everything from construction to parking lot cleanup in the wee hours of Sunday morning. A true outdoorsman, he’s also a fisherman and a wood-worker. Steve and his wife, Marcia, both involved in real estate, share a love for God’s word and a passion for missions. They care deeply for people, and dedicate time as hospitality leaders, prayer counselors, and leaders of two life groups (one of which definitely involves a surfboard). Steve has four grown daughters and five grandkids in California.

Jessica Howard

Jessica Howard

Wedding Coordinator / Administrative Assistant - jhoward@eccc.us

An original member of the Stallbaum family, Jessica is now a part-time member of the ECCC administrative team. Her background in retail and banking is a definite asset to her new role on staff, assisting with various projects and events on the ECCC campus. Jessica is a skilled bargain shopper and loves to cook, carrying on the Stallbaum family tradition of specializing in ethnic food and original recipes. She and husband Femi are proud parents of Femi Jr. and twin girls, Kaia and Kara.

Fay Irons

Fay Irons

Finance Department - firons@eccc.us

A long-time member of ECCC, Fay Irons joined the finance department one year ago. She prefers her quiet, cozy quarters to the bustling pace of the front office, but emerges occasionally to hunt down timecard offenders. When she’s not crunching numbers, she plays keyboard for the ECCC worship team. Fay and her husband Donovan enjoy time with their four kids and grandkids.

Jacob Kaufman

Jacob Kaufman

Graphics - jkauffman@eccc.us

Jacob Kaufman is the newest member of the ECCC graphics department, and has been serving at the Mezzanine for almost a year. You might also recognize him from his other part-time job at Barnes & Noble Merritt Island. He loves all kinds of art and is an active member of Quiet Science, a Christian-influenced rock band from Central Florida. Worshipping with music and art is his passion, and he’s rarely without a guitar to strum and a good song in his head. Jake is currently on a summer tour with his band.

Tom and Deena Maher

Tom and Deena Maher

Video Production & Graphics - tmaher@eccc.us
Service Coordinator / Administrative Assistant - dmaher@eccc.us

A background in retail and marketing isn’t enough; Renaissance Man Tom Maher is also a commercial electrician, multi-instrument musician, photographer, painter, graphic designer, and videographer. Though his primary focus here is graphics and video, he is just as likely to be found back in the shop creating a prop for an event or weekend service. If it’s Sunday night, you’ll find him at The Mezzanine, part of the team leading worship for young adults. Stop by the Avenue Worship Center Café and check out his paintings for sale.

Deena Maher had no idea that a 2008 move from Michigan to Florida for a job would ultimately lead her down the aisle to her husband. Part of the ECCC staff since May of 2009, Deena has been able to combine her love of ministry with her background in writing.  Never seen without some sort of reading material, Deena spends her spare time immersed in the works of Ted Dekker, Jane Austen, and any other authors recommended to her. She thinks thunderstorms and great coffee provide the perfect setting for a good book.

When not at ECCC, Tom and Deena can be found competing against each other on the tennis court, watching all-day TV marathons of their favorite shows, and brainstorming ideas for illustrated stories.

Leah Martin

Leah Martin

Front Desk Administrator / Administrative Assistant - lmartin@eccc.us

Call or stop by on any given day, and the cheerful voice and warm smile that greets you belongs to Leah Martin. With a background in Florida’s hospitality industry, greeting people and managing the daily traffic through the front office is nothing new to Leah. She loves people and thrives on projects and events. She is also the Volunteer Facilitator and Morning Breath Coordinator, and provides administrative support for the staff. When she’s not at ECCC, one of her favorite things to do is spend time with her husband and family.

Lloyd Miller

Lloyd Miller

Facilities - lmiller@eccc.us

In 2006, Lloyd put his mechanical expertise in motorcycles and slot car racing to work as a member of the Facilities staff at ECCC. He now gets paid to tinker with bikes, test explosives, and manage everything from service props to routine maintenance items. The most rewarding part of his job is seeing teamwork bring about the pastors’ vision for communicating the Word each week. Lloyd volunteers ministry time for Kid’s Church and other outreach ECCC teams. Valued family time is spent with his grown daughter (Go Gators!) and two sons.

Bill Munsey

Bill Munsey

Production / Sound Engineer - bmunsey@eccc.us

FOH Engineer & Lighting Director Bill Munsey has loved music since the third grade, playing recorder, viola, cello, upright bass, bass guitar, turntables, and some guitar. He graduated from Full Sail University in 2005 and immediately went on tour with the “World Famous” Lipizzaner Stallion Show as their sound engineer and production manager.  During his five years on the road, he visited 49 states, seven provinces, and seven countries. When he’s not at a console, he likes to play soccer, spend time at the beach, play music with anything that makes noise, and hang out with friends.

Scott Noy

Scott Noy

Facilities Director - snoy@eccc.us

The dawning of January 1, 2001, saw the arrival of Scott Noy on the steps of ECCC, and the people rejoiced. No longer would they dash to and fro in search of a widget, for Scott knew not only where to get them but how to make them from scratch at a far lower cost. His extensive resume and vast repertoire are second only to his ultra-positive can-do attitude. Tucked away in the back, The Shop is his favorite ministry tool; he is able to reach people who might not be interested in coming through the front door of a church. When not constructing entire cities from Styrofoam in just five days, he loves outdoor adventures with his wife, Christine, and two sons Quenton and Hunter.

Tina Palverento

Tina Palverento

Front Office Administrator - tpalverento@eccc.us

Air Force brat Tina Palverento is currently on her second run as a senior administrative assistant at ECCC, and wouldn’t trade it for anything. After previously serving on staff in various capacities, she and her family followed her husband’s job to Tennessee. They missed us too much, though, and headed back to Merritt Island in 2009; Tina came back on staff in 2010. Her real passion is music, and when she’s not in the office, you’re most likely to find her on stage with the worship team. Tina and her very Italian husband, Angelo (yes, he’s a great cook!), fill the rest of their time with family trips to the beach, along with football, cheerleading, and middle school activities for their three kids, Julian, Faith, and Angelo IV. They’ve been part of the ECCC family for eleven years.

Cindy Smith

Cindy Smith

East Coast Christian Academy Director - csmith@eccc.us

An ECCC member since 1989, Cindy Smith loves kids. The last eight years as Director of East Coast Christian Academy have brought her in contact with hundreds of children, and she embraces every moment as an opportunity to impact not just one child, but an entire family. Her mission is to make sure parents know that ECCA staff provides the same level of care for their children that she would expect for her own grandchildren. Cindy and her high school sweetheart, Glen, have been married for almost 29 years. They hang out with their three kids – Nick, Mary, and Tim – and two grandbabies.

Lauren Stallbaum

Lauren Stallbaum

Web & Graphics - lstallbaum@eccc.us

Lauren has been part of the Stallbaum family since July 2004 and a member of the ECCC staff since November 2005. After assisting with events and service coordination, Lauren found her niche in the graphics department working on print and digital media projects. At home, Lauren is a busy wife and mom to her firefighter husband Jon and daughters Emma and Aubrey. Favorite things include spending time with her family (both here and in Tennessee), food (particularly eating), painting and decorating, Gator football, and a passion for running and fitness.

Martita Stanton

Martita Stanton

East Coast Christian University Administrator - mstanton@eccc.us

Though she works odd hours and is known for locking herself out of her own office, Martita loves her job assisting Pastor Dave Ellis with East Coast Christian University. In the eight years she and husband Jeff have been part of ECCC, they’ve been involved with numerous ministry and outreach teams, including leading mission trips to Guatemala and serving as ushers and prayer counselors on a weekly basis. Martita and Jeff’s spend time with their busy family of three kids, one son-in-law, and two grandkids.

Amanda Walker

Amanda Walker

Avenue Cafe Manager - awalker@eccc.us

Vocalist and keyboardist Amanda Walker plays a lead role on both the Mezzanine Young Adult Church and Parkway Worship Center teams. This singer-songwriter has several songs on the Mezzanine’s full-length recording project, Come Away, released in the fall of 2009. She feels blessed to be able to work with leaders who have a passion and zeal for the things of God, and is excited to see what opportunities may arise from that project. Amanda spends her spare time writing worship songs, experimenting with hair styles and color, and hanging out with friends.

Tom Wood

Tom Wood

Counseling & Facilities - twood@eccc.us

Tom joined the counseling staff at ECCC in May 2009. In ministry since 1980, he has done a little bit of everything just about everywhere - a teacher at a Christian discipleship home in Minneapolis; a missionary to Mexico; a youth pastor in Savannah, Georgia; and a prison chaplain in Colorado, Savannah, and locally at the Brevard County Jail. No matter what his role, Tom’s goal is to use God’s Word to effectively break the chains of deception and see people walking in truth and freedom.

A graduate of technical college as well as Bible school and seminary, Tom is equally comfortable with tools as he is with a Bible. This is why you will see him working in facilities on the weekends.

In his spare time, Tom likes hitting the open road on his motorcycle with Becky, his bride of 30 years; golfing in the Florida sunshine; and spending time with their four kids and five grandkids.
